Tiivistelmä:Obsessed by the short term, incapable of transmitting acquired experience and preferring to rewrite history, French firms are silent in these times of growing interest in history. Can companies be taught to use their memories? Taking into account the modes and abuses flowing from the lack of consciousness of the past, it would be convenient for the companies and the management to try to understand this state of affairs because other organisations and human activities draw much gain by turning to history when pursuing scientific investigations. It is necessary therefore to detect the main sources of this amnesia and then a restoration of the use of memory in the company must be made.
