| Tiivistelmä: | There is addressed an unusual subject in an effort to focus attention on an alternative to optimization which is comparatively neglected in the operational research field. The fact that the judgment models developed here demonstrate some success in modelling social judgments, offers the potential for other applications where high levels of uncertainty in the coefficients of decision parameters preclude traditional operational research. Behavioral decision models offer a useful alternative to human judgment and under such conditions also to traditional operational research. An interesting and provocative challenge is the spousal selection process. |
