| Tiivistelmä: | Lord Chalfont, chairman of the planned Radio Authority has outlined plans for independent broadcasters. He said public service broadcasting must not be left to the BBC alone, and Independent Radio would have a major role to play. Lord Chalfont wouldn't reveal details of the 3 national commercial radio frequencies but his plans suggest that the auctions would be similar to those planned for TV franchises by ITC. |
