| Tiivistelmä: | Six determinants of interorganizational relationship formation are discussed and integrated. It is shown how these determinants can be applied to the prediction of six types of interorganizational relations. Some hypotheses for future research are proposed that specify the conditions under which each determinant will be more likely to predict different types of relations. All these are preliminaries toward a general theory of interorganizational relationships. Arguments are presented that alternative theoretical perspectives provide only partial insights into the phenomena of interorganizational relations. |
