Tiivistelmä: | A company valuation cannot solve the problem of price alone. The value and price of a company are two different matters. Some other important aspects of company valuation are described and analyzed: e.g. the supervision of the company's history; the acquisition of basic figures for the assessment of the future and the discovery of hidden deficiencies. The special problems of small firms' valuation are examined. The difficulties in making a family business transparent are considered. It is shown how index numbers specific to industry can be determined. |
