A number of cases taken from project histories demonstrate that this alone is not enough for a satisfactory performance. Some key elements that are regarded as prerequisites for a successful project are described and analyzed. The selection of a project manager is considered. Suggestions are made on how to build a project team. The role of the application of Management by Objectives is highlighted. The most important aspects of project planning, project implementation, and project control are explored. |
