| Tiivistelmä: | The system of national accounts calculates indicators of the economic activity of society. These indicators were accused however that they do not accurately measure welfare. (Not only goods but also "bads" are included, household production is left out etc.). Statisticians defended their construct with technical argument but recently there are efforts made at a parallel computation of a measure of total economic activity and another one of welfare (socalled satellite systems). |
