| Tiivistelmä: | The article offers an overview of the main activities of the Slovenian government in company restructuring from June 1992 till now.The author describes the conditions, which have been established by the institution of bankruptcy, when a large part of the industry meets the requirements needed for the introduction of bankruptcy procedures.The government scheme for the pre-bankruptcy rehabilitation of companies and the current state of affairs are explained.The Republic of Slovenia Fund for Development and its role and experience in company restructuring are described.The author concludes his article by establishing that in most cases such methods of restructuring are demanded which put pressure on the government to increase the level of endebtedness of the state. |
