| Tiivistelmä: | This study explores the role of chronological age and age diversity in relation to the effects of organizational influences. Based on data on the contributions of nearly 460 volunteers (hereafter as: volntrs.) in over 70 geographically dispersed teams of a large nonprofit organization, it is indicated that the quality of member selection has a greater positive influence on in-role performance for older rather than younger volntrs. that the quality of training for group members has a greater positive influence on in-role performance for volntrs. less dissimilar in age from others in the group etc. |
