| Tiivistelmä: | Modern econometrics recuires transparent use of specialized methods usually implemented on specific hard- and software platforms. Typically, software is written and optimized for a specific platform and thus not available for applied research at other places. The Internet gives the potential for reducing the heterogeneity. The paper discusses possible software architectures for employing the potential of Internet based econometric computing. |
