| Tiivistelmä: | This study aims at filling the research gap in the area of diversity management in multinational firms. It presents an indepth longitudinal case study of TRANSCO, a well-known European multinational company that operates in more than 100 countries. The main focus is paid on what TRANSCO has been integrating and how the integration is facilitated. In addition, the study explores challenges that have emerged in the process. It is found that TRANSCO has utilized a great number of integration mechanisms. Thus, the company has used significant resources to integrate global diversity management. The key challenges TRANSO faced during the process were related to local managers. |
