| Tiivistelmä: | This study builds a conceptual framework that addresses the development and sharing of knowledge by Centres of Excellence and transnational teams. Four factors, pre-existing knowledge, practices, interaction and communication, are identified as affecting on knowledge development and sharing in the two organizational mechanisms. The differences in Centres of Excellence and transnational teams influence the amount of subsidiary participation and what are the factors that facilitate and hamper knowledge development and sharing. |
