| Tiivistelmä: | The fact that restructuring to achieve a flat organization is necessary in a seriously troubled company,is pointed out. The form of the new structure moves from the vertical toward the horizontal, resulting in a flatter organization. Flattering the organization by increasing the number of direct reporting relationships to the president or general manager is only the beginning; it should be carried out at each succeeding level. Pronounce is made in favor of centralizing control while decentralizing operations. |
