| Tiivistelmä: | This article focuses on management structures of Universities in United Kingdom. First, a historical perspective of literature concerning university governance is provided. Second, the evolution of leadership roles and internal structures is discussed. Third, the recent, current, and future drives of internal and external change are studied. Finally, it is argued that to attain improvement university governance should concentrate on people and processes instead of structure and roles. |
