Tiivistelmä: | The use of World Wide Web by Scottish tourism business appears to be varied and to be promoting a variegated image of Scotland world-wide. A communicative style has so far not been the dominant style of development. This study suggests that Scotland may be doubly undervalued on the WWW in a varied presentation of its tourism resources and in the lack of a generic communicative approach to site design. The regional diversity of sites across Scotland is identified and the extent of the development of a communication concept is assessed. |
