| Tiivistelmä: | There are two basic elements which are characteristic of the Austrian legistation on capital markct - its transparency and the protection of investors.The European Union legal guidelines (with the exception of the guidelines on securities operations and capital guidelines) have already been transferred into the Austrian legislation, thus covering the European standards of legal regulations to a large extent.However, the Austrian market still lacks an efficient supervisory system, which is now being in the process of preparation. |
