Tiivistelmä:China's current market structure features the coexistence of super-economic monopoly and unduly decentralised competition and the coexistence of low degree of concentration of production and restriction of competition, which led to the weak market competitiveness, poor returns of scale economy and difficulties in the adjustment of stock assets. However, the large-and medium-sized state-owned enterprises are not fully driven by market and they are weak in competition for innovation. Besides, the degree of market transparency is poor. As a result, there exist serious unethical competition. To rationalise market structure, the basic way is to depend on both market competition and the adjustment of the state's policies. The measures to be taken are to promote the merger of enterprises, develop enterprise groups and so on.
