Tiivistelmä: | In this articles the authors consider three African countries: Democratic Republic of Congo, Zimbabwe and Malawi. In the first article (DRC) they consider the problem of the diamond rich Bena Tshiwaka area in Eastern Kasai, Federation of Congolese Diamantaires and very exceptional gem, weighting 265.82 carats. In the second article (Zimbabwe) the authors consider Zimbabwe government claiming that the world was beginning to understand and appreciate its land reform policy. In the third article (Malawi) the authors state that turbulent Malawi kwacha has now started firming following the recent moves by President Bakili Muluzi to stamp out high level corruption in government circles. |
