| Tiivistelmä: | This paper presents the use of the Structured Analysis and Design Technique (SADT) -IDEF0 modelling technique for developing a fabrication process model, and examines the procedure of modelling, involving knowledge acquisition, diagram generation and review. The aim is to understand the process of order fulfilment as a part of wider funded IMI-LINK research programme aimed at investigating the potential for improving the productivity and competitiveness of the steel fabrication process. |
