Tiivistelmä: | A middle-sized company of the consumer goods industry and the Fraunhofer Institut fuer Arbeitwirtschaft and Organisation, Stuttgart have developed a strategic planning system for the next decade. It was presupposed that the company's success would depend mainly on the rapid and correct delivery of the requested goods. Therefore, the development of the planning methodology has concentrated on the administration of orders. The project of a new dispatching centre was developed as a means of optimization of order administration and delivery. Five success factors have been taken into account: communication, co-ordination, transparency, responsibility, and performance control. |
