| Tiivistelmä: | Configuration management (CM) is a discipline that assures the conformance of a product, service or facility to its documentation. This means that if we are doing good CM then the product, service or facility looks like its documentation and the documentation looks like the product, service or facility. Today's CM is part of the collective knowledge and practice of the design team, the marketing team, the production team, the research team, the management team and the field service team. This means that CM has to be a key part of the way you do business. |
