| Tiivistelmä: | A successful pluralization strategy requires two basic conditions: First, it needs a responsible business with stability and considerable advantages, and the development of the business domain is in the first place. Second, it needs core competitiveness of enterprises, that is, the competitive force which can bring about a stable and prolonged profit much higher than the average level. When the enterprises are concretely prepared for pluralized operation, they choose a right direction of pluralization. That is to say, a favorable strategic conection exists between responsible business and core competitiveness, and some business units less closely related are made independent or sold as soon as possible. Therefore, the horizontal strategic connection inside an enterprise is strengthened, and so on. |
