| Tiivistelmä: | The study was designed to determine whether basic science and clinical departments within a college of medicine attach differential importance to the academic missions of teaching, research and clinical service. Review of data obtained at departmental meetings using the nominal group technique (NGT) indicates that departments differ in expressed concern regarding Administration, Research, and Clinical Care issues. Allocation of resources including space, research expenditures, and total departmental budget also were associated with departmental concerns. |
