Tiivistelmä: | The aim of this study is to describe how communicators may contribute to the external effectiveness of organisations by participating in leadership. The findings suggest that communicators must develop certain knowledge and skills in order to efficiently contribute to organizational effectiveness. Four areas of knowledge are identified: communication (here as: c.) through process, c. through structures, c. through social interaction and c. to and from the environment. Four areas of skills are identified as well: system design, mediating, coaching and influencing. |
