| Tiivistelmä: | Securitization as a method of financing, which is based on investments from the asset side of the balance sheet replaces some other more expensive forms of investment.The implementation of securitization is more efficient if the environment is adjusted to this relatively advanced financial method.American practice confirms this.There the securities market which are the result of securitization show a high growth rate.In Slovenia the environment for the implementation of securitization is far less favourable, since there is no uniform governmental support by agencies which would issue guarantees and insure independent information of the credit rating of the issued securities.This would bring about much lower costs of separate transactions.Considering the fact that the financial market in Slovenia is still in its developmental phase, it would be appropriate that in the future also in the filed of legislation some solutions were found which would be more suitable for the implementation of securitization.This transaction is beneficial not only to individual participants but also to the financial system at large. |
