Tiivistelmä: | "Peripheral" employees are usually left out of career development and training. The authors argue that they should be brought into the fold if a company aspires to be a learning organization. Thinking in HR management is often highly compartmentalized. Flexible working is the realm of either the equal opportunities officer or the manager responsible for corporate restructuring. It is an issue in most peoples' eyes because it saves the corporation money or helps to attract and retain scarce skills. |
