| Tiivistelmä: | Based on an empirical example of Taiwanese firms, this paper develops testable hypothesis as to the impact of global configuration in terms of entry timing, location, and value chain activities. Results indicate that foreign investment from a multinational corporation (MNC) will enable a higher level of manufacturing and technological capability development when made at an earlier point of time than at a later one. There are also more results reported. |
