Tiivistelmä:In public discussion concerning ethics, biotechnology is treated as single technology. However, different biotechnologies raise different ethical questions and challenges for the corporate decision making. This paper focuses on the category of genetic testing. The marketing of two types of gene commercial genetic tests is compared. Specifically, the research focuses on two broad categories of ethical challenges: 1) truth in advertising, 2) protection of intellectual property rights. The great diversity of ethical challenges is highlighted.
