| Tiivistelmä: | Total demand in the domestic copying machine market decreased slightly in 1992, but since then it has been increasing by about 5%annually, and remains strong. Looking at market conditions for office-use monochrome copying machines in 1995, total shipments were 720,000 units, of which 240,000 were digital and the remaining 485,000 units were analog. Digital copying machines continue to show strong growth, with shipments in 1995 increasing by more than 50% from the previous year. In conjunction with the expansion of digital machines, shipments of analog machines are experiencing a decreasing trend. |
