Tiivistelmä:In this article the authors open up the topic of ethical corporate identity. The authors believe it to be a new as well as highly relevant, field of examination for scholarship in ethics and corporate social responsibility. The authors study the topic through Balmer's AC2ID test model of corporate social responsibility and by exploring the specificities of an ethical form of corporate identity. The authors suggest that ethical identity potentially takes us beyond the embodiment of the corporation. Instead the authors argue that ethical identity is seen to be build relationally, between parties within a community of business and social exchange.
