| Tiivistelmä: | In 2005, the United States Government Accountability Office (GAO) reported to U.S. Congress on the landscape of higher education. The GAO found the textbook prices having been increased at twice the rate of inflation for the past two decades. Attempting to clarify on the findings in the study and to explore the potential impact an expanded utilization of e-textbooks on the cost of a college education, this paper examines the current and future use of e-textbooks in addressing the increasing costs of a college education. |
