| Tiivistelmä: | In this paper a DSGE model with a heterogeneous banking sector has been presented. Endogenous default probabilities have been counted for both firms and banks; also bank regulation and liquidity injections into the interbank market have been allowed for. The model is calibrated against real US data and used for simulations and due to the writers it is "promising in terms of reproducing some stylised facts of US economy". In addition to the model, the role of the Basel regulations are discussed. |
