| Tiivistelmä: | The article investigates tourists' perceptions of a coastal travel destination suffering from beach erosion and undergoing replenishment process. According to officials' assumptions, tourist would react negatively to these changes in landscape. However, the study reveals that tourists interpret the site in multiple different ways. Due to global climate change, both social and material aspects must be considered to develop long-term adaptation methods. |
