Tiivistelmä: | The article examines the relationship between affective and continuance components of commitment, as well as employees' intention to stay or quit in the oil industry. 600 employees representing three different managerial levels were studied using a questionnaire survey method. The results confirm that commitment is multidimensional in nature. A strong negative relationship between organizational commitment and intention to quit was also detected. |
