The principal determinants of employee morale are job design, work group dynamics, management practice, and economic rewards. The nature and importance of morale for the 1990 are treated by presenting the four main components of morale and their substantiating research. Morale blockers including time, specialization, complexity, diversity and equity are also presented. Recommendations for management practices. |
