| Tiivistelmä: | A discrete time model for analysis of the diffusion of new telecommunication services supplied through a network is proposed. Special attention is given to the interactive access to remote data bases. The starting point of the analysis is the belief that the main features of the diffusion of new telecommunication services can only be explained by explicitly taking into consideration the interaction, in a specific market structure, of three groups of agents, each with different goals: the users, the information providers, and the network providers. The effects of the network constraint and of the expectations of the users and suppliers are also considered. |
