| Tiivistelmä: | The first major shot in the battle for TV sport came last year, when the European rights to the Wimbledon tennis championships went to a private German broadcaster instead of the *EBU. Now it seems certain that *EBU will be obliged to sell on secondary rights to non-*EBU members or it will face accusations of restrictive trade. The *EBU argues that secondary users should pay for more than just transmission rights. Many rights will change hands in the next 5 years. |
