| Tiivistelmä: | The study investigates why women are ignored in media news, why reporters and newsmakers are mainly men and on what occasions women appear. The newscasts of three networks have been studied for a month and the results were analysed from different points of view. It is questionable, however, if a radical change of the situation is necessary. |
