Tiivistelmä:This is a report on the results of the national Mass Communication survey from September-November 1990, which was already the sixth of the kind. Statistical data are gained about the use of the three main channels of mass communication, radio, TV and press; the popularity of different program types; the time distribution of media use during the day; the evaluation of programs such as liability, distraction etc. Results are compared with those of 1985 and between the Western and Eastern part of the country.
