| Tiivistelmä: | The quality of TV programmes is discussed. The definition of quality is not so clear, but an effort is made to typologize quality. Five traditions of research on TV-viewing are analysed. Instructions on how to estimate or measure the the quality of programmes and channels are given. The different segments of the audience perceive quality in quite different ways. |
