| Tiivistelmä: | China's return to GATT will have far-searching impact on China's foreign trade. The author puts forward five choices and measures: to effectively use the flexible tariff system and the discriminating duty to protect the national industry ; to bring about as soon as possible the transformation from tariff protection to non-tariff protection, to quicken the implementation of RMB exchange rate; to strive for the opening of market to Chinese products by various contracting parties of GATT; to devote major efforts to the training of talented personnel concerned with GATT. |
