| Tiivistelmä: | The lessons gained in a reorganisation project /BÖROM/ in the ministries of Lower Saxony are described. Lean management in public administration means to meet the increasing demands of citizens /"customers"/ for nonbureaucratic and efficient services. For this reason in two ministries a concept of technology, a concept of organisation and a concept of cooperation has been developed. The systematic analysis of the goals and the results of this project lead to the conclusion that the introduction of lean management is a crucial factor to citizens' satisfaction in public administration. |
