| Tiivistelmä: | In the contribution the author wishes to call an attention to the problematic of data protection and information privacy security at data processing in medical activity.Personal data protection and information privacy security is getting that more urgent in this time as also into the medical activity informatization is being enhancingly introduced and possibilities for data transfer and exchange over computers, connected into networks on local and higher levels are opening.This question is getting important preferentially because as it is known in the processes within medical activity personal - intimate data are assembled, treated and transferred, for which by the General declaration of human rights and the Conventions of European Council about person security according to the automatically processing of personal data, special principles and security measures regarding protecton and safe processing of personal data are valid.It is a question about so called right to the privacy and information privacy respectively.By solving of this problematic and searching of appropriate solutions we meet two areas of personal data protection.These are legal and technical data protection and safe data processing respectively.The solutions have to be prepared on both areas simultaneously, very quickly and precisely as technological development is quicker in this area as the development in the other areas is.And this is opening new hazards, as it can come to the violations and abuses of information privacy.For the medical activity this is of crucial importance as physicians are by the Hipocrate's oath obligated to the professional secrecy (discretion) and ethics. |
