| Tiivistelmä: | The article analyses the increasing controversy in Britain surrounding Sunday Trading laws. It asks whether some aspects of the continuing public debate over Sunday Trading may serve as a useful indices of the degree of secularization of British society. It distinguishes between three different dimensions of secularization. Whatever category of secularization is invoked, however, the Sunday Trading debate remains an intensly ambiguous arena of contestation. |
