| Tiivistelmä: | CEO's are pulling human resources professionals in more directions than ever. Routinely, they challenge HR to do more and spend less, centralize and decentralize, delegate and know details, cut staff and sustain morale, take risks and be right. Learning to use approaches for working with paradoxes requires a 'mentality friendly to paradox'. HR managers must appreciate that paradoxes are fundamental to living and that life is full of contradictions. The challenge entails a commitment to synthesis, a willingness to consider both/and in the face of either/or. |
