| Tiivistelmä: | White males dominated the corporate culture at GE Silicones until the women and minorities who had joined the company during the late 1980's shared their concerns with management. Consequently, it became apparent that company policies and employee attitudes were out of touch with the needs of a diverse work force. Incorporating employee ideas, the company changed its policies in such areas as family care service, job sharing and flextime to reflect the needs of a diverse work force. |
