| Tiivistelmä: | A number of corporations that responded to the competitive pressures of the 1980's and early 1990's by reorganizing and rightsizing are dissatisfied with the results. Even after a rightsizing, ingrained attitudes and behaviors undermined the potential for positive results. When a company restructures, it focuses primarily on reorganizing and cutting costs, but it must also change all the levers so that what employees think and do also changes. This is done by examining and introducing the traits of successful companies and using them as design criteria. |
