| Tiivistelmä: | Slovenia is one of the countries in the process of transformation.It is a constituent part of the European area, with which it seeks to establish more formal ties.In the Strategy of Economic Development of Slovenia two most likely scenarios for Slovenian economic development will be elaborated.Slovenia is a small country which can develop only as an open and globally integrated economy.It cannot influence the world economy.The scenarios are based on potential world economic conditions.However, in the given conditions of world economic development , the economic development of Slovenia can be more or less successful.There are no real alternatives to the search for new markets, increased competitiveness on international markets and appropriate domestic economy policy.The scenarios will take account of the already accepted financial obligations of sectoral strategies and programmes and will at the same time call attention to the possible difficulties regarding their implementation.The coordination of programmes and strategies on the sectoral level will be accomplished during the process of preparing a long-term budget memorandum. |
