| Tiivistelmä: | Privatisation is apparently the crusial issue transition strategists are dealing with in Central Eastern European European countries. The widespread disappointment with the practical achievements in this field may be at least partly caused by a fallacy in the approach to the solution of the problem. This is that it is assumed that by changing the legal title to economic assets from state to private owners a sufficient requirement for a more efficient economic system is met. |
