| Tiivistelmä: | The process plant contracting industry contains firms whose promary function is to efficiently implement and bring to fruition the investment program of the producer firms according to a contract. There are about 300 firms worldwide which can be classified as such. Most are based in regions where the process industries are well developed, but there are a growing number of firms in developing nations. This paper examines wether by conducting research into process design, process contractors can gain a competitive advantage internationally. |
